The Issues

After years of knocking doors and talking with neighbors across the district, Abby has heard clearly what families need most. Her priorities are shaped by listening to our community.

Affordable Housing

Housing costs are rising too fast for working families.

  • Support rent control in mobile home parks

  • Create incentives for multifamily housing

  • Expand sustainable housing options for people of all ages

  • Require new housing projects to remain affordable by law

Child Wellbeing, Schools, and CYFD

Children do better when they have safe schools, strong support, and a system that works with families.

  • Support safe schools and equitable access to education.

  • Reform CYFD so it works better for children and families

  • Improve staff retention in schools and child-serving systems

  • Build stronger pipelines from higher education into CYFD jobs and related fields

  • Proper heating and cooling for public schools

Healthcare Access

We need affordable, reliable care close to home, without long waits or unfair insurance barriers.

  • Address doctor shortages across the state

  • Strengthen rural healthcare access and funding for rural clinics

  • Push back on monopoly insurance practices

  • Support Paid Family and Medical Leave

  • Provide up to 12 weeks of care for a close family member, not only for pregnancy
